Pakistan Blog Awards - PBA 2016 held in Karachi at Movenpick hotel on 20 March 2016.Huge number of Audience attended function along with nominated Bloggers from all over Pakistan.Badar Khushnood Country Consultant of Twitter Pakistan organized event in association with Nokia, Google Pakistan, ARY News,Telenor,Dell, Intel,HBL & Coca Cola.Main Sponsor of the ceremony was Twitter Pakistan while Ary News was media partner.
Pakistan Blog Award was previously held in 2010 & 2011 by PC World but it got controversial due to some serious allegations by famous bloggers of that time.
However PBA 2016 got successful.Awards was announced in January 2016 while deadline for submitting blog was 29 February 2016.Over 500 Blogs was submitted for different categories.Judges were some famous personalities like Javed chaudhry, Zafar Abbas,Anwar Maqsood,Bushara Ansari,Hasan Nisar,Hamza Ali Abbasi,Dr, Shahid Masood & Mirza Iqbal Baig.Whole Panel took almost week to judge every blog by reading each blog separately.
According to organizers their were about 25 blog nominations in every category from all over Pakistan.
